BRIDGEWATER, NJ – In honor of National County Government Month in April, Somerset County will sponsor fun and informative events. On April 8 at TD Bank Ballpark, visitors can watch baseball, fireworks and participate in County Government Night, a special event sponsored by the County Board of Commissioners. The public can also visit the Bridgewater Library, at 1 Vogt Dr., in Bridgewater, April 10 to 17, to obtain printed materials about the county’s free services and job opportunities.
“The purpose of National County Government Month is to inform and remind residents about the valuable services and programs the county offers,” said Somerset County Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson. “When residents visit the Bridgewater library and TD Bank Ballpark, information about our programs and services will be easily accessible, and they can speak to representatives from various divisions to get their questions answered.”
