Planning/Zoning Meeting – Adjournment

The Planning/Zoning Board meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. This in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:4-12, the “Open Public Meetings Act” and members of the public are invited to attend and observe.


Please be advised that this meeting will be conducted by electronic means in accordance with the “Senator Byron M. Baer Open Public Meetings Act” of 2020, which explicitly permits a public body to conduct a meeting electronically during a state of emergency. Governor Murphy issued Executive Orders 103 and 107 declaring a “public Health Emergency and State of Emergency” and directing residents to quarantine and practice social distancing. Pursuant to the executive orders, guidelines from the CDC and in an effort to prevent further spread of COVID-19, the general public are unable to attend the Planning/Zoning Board meeting in person. Participation will be revised from attending the Planning/Zoning Board meeting in person to telephonic conferencing or video conferencing. Members of the public will be able hear all business and testimony, and to give public comment during public comment portions of the meeting through telephonic conferencing or video.


The South Bound Brook Planning/Zoning Board is utilizing GoToMeetings service to conduct regular meetings in compliance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act.

To participate during the public comment portion of an agenda item, the public may:

  • Phone-in by dialing +1 (786) 535-3211 and enter access code 148-075-685; or
  • Attend by video by joining the meeting using GoToMeetings:


  • Should you wish to provide comments during this meeting:
    • Phone-in callers – Once the testimony has been presented, the matter will be opened to the public and you will be able to speak at that time.
    • GoToMeeting platform – Use the chat box to contact the meeting organizer.
  • The Board will determine how long each commenter will speak, and when your time expires your microphone will be muted.

In addition to public comments at any remote public meeting, anyone seeking to make a written public comment in advance of the meeting may submit the comment, via mail or email, which must be received by the Board Administrator 72 hours prior to the scheduled meeting date. Borough staff will be available to offer technical support by phone, by calling 732-356-0258 x172. The telephonic and virtual conferencing system will be activated 10 minutes prior to the meeting start time.
