Greater Raritan Job Fair at Hindu Temple in Bridgewater Featuring 600-Plus Current Openings on May 24

Employers in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties will be trying to fill more than 600 current, open positions during the Greater Raritan 2022 Job Fair, being hosted at the Hindu Temple and Cultural Society on Route 202-206 in Bridgewater from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. Job seekers do not need to register.

Nearly 100 employers based in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties have registered for this free event. This is the first large-scale in-person job fair presented by the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB) since the onset of the pandemic.

As of May 3, 88 employers have registered to attend the event; the temple conference-center location can accommodate up to 100 employer participants.

“Community members from around the region are invited to meet all of the employers during this free event,” said GRWDB Board Chair Joanne Hala. “Be prepared to share your resume, network with hiring managers and other job seekers and gather career-related information from employers and agency participants.”

The hundreds of jobs being offered by these local businesses and nonprofit agencies are full-time and part-time and range from entry-level to more experienced positions. Participating employers represent the sectors of childcare and education, construction, county government, finance, healthcare, health and wellness, leisure and hospitality, life sciences, manufacturing, personal and family services, retail trade, sports, transportation and logistics, technology and veterinary care.

The current list of employers with jobs available, can be viewed here, or by using the QR code in this flyer.

The event also will have a resource table with information from career-related agencies and organizations and other partners working with the GRWDB. In addition, rooms will be available for one-on-one discussions with employers as needed.

Employers who are interested in taking part in this event can register here. Applications will be accepted, and the table will be held in the order in which the completed forms are received. Once capacity is reached, employers will be put on a waiting list and notified if a table becomes available.
