January 13, 2021: Good afternoon.  I hope all is well.  Earlier today, Governor Murphy announced that the following residents may begin receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on January 14, 2021:  individuals 65 years old and older; and, and individuals between the ages of 16-24 with medical conditions that increase the risk of severe illness from contracting COVID-19 as defined by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at Certain Medical Conditions and Risk for Severe COVID-19 Illness | CDC.  Please note that the State is still administering Phase 1A of its vaccination plan, which includes healthcare workers; long-term care facility residents; and, sworn law enforcement officers, firefighters, and other first responders.  I hope you find this information helpful and that you have a great rest of the day.
