Combined Planning/Zoning Board

The Borough of South Bound Brook Combined Planning and Zoning Board is responsible for a wide range of regulations that deal with community development and planning. The Planning/Zoning Board Administrator, Erin Santora LaGrua can be reached at elagrua@southboundbrook.com or 732-356-0258 x172.

Some of the major responsibilities of the Board are to:

  1. Hear requests for variances as well as appeals of the decision of the Zoning Officer.
  2. Review plans for subdivisions and site plans for proposed development.
  3. Review requested changes to the Zoning regulations and make recommendations to the Borough Council.
  4. Review and prepare the Master Plan for the Borough.

The Planning/Zoning Board meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Borough Hall, 12 Main Street, South Bound Brook, New Jersey 08880. This in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:4-12, the “Open Public Meetings Act” and members of the public are invited to attend and observe.
