Registration Is Open for Summer Camp at Environmental Education Center
Programs Are for Kids Ages Four to Thirteen
SOMERVILLE, NJ – Registration is open for children ages four to thirteen who want to attend day camp at the Somerset County Park Commission’s Environmental Education Center (EEC). Naturalists lead these fun day camp programs Monday through Friday from June to August. Registration is open for multiple programs on a first-come, first-serve basis. To register, click here.
Summers become more memorable at the EEC’s day camp programs, where children can explore 500 acres of fields, forests, ponds, and a river, in a natural learning environment that provides unique learning opportunities.
At the EEC day camps, children will make summertime memories while building their curiosity for the environment and a fondness for science through educational programs, outdoor experiences, socialization, and creative learning opportunities.
This year, the EEC is introducing two exciting new camp programs, “Jaws and Claws,” where children will learn the survival characteristics and behaviors of various animals, and “Forest Fanatics,” which allows kids to explore the natural wonders of the outdoors.
