SOMERVILLE, NJ – With COVID-19 restrictions easing, safeguards have been implemented at the Somerset County-operated senior centers allowing the centers to partially open and offer outdoor activities in addition to Zoom programs. The county’s management team is continuing to follow state-mandated public healthcare guidelines and is assessing when it will be safe to fully reopen and resume regularly scheduled onsite, indoor activities.

Outdoor programs feature live music events and exercise classes. Participants must register ahead of time for classes and order their boxed lunches in advance. Outdoor programs are noted on this calendar as OUTDOOR EVENTS.

Social Distancing

During in-person events, masks are required for those who are not fully vaccinated and are preferred when social distancing cannot be maintained.

Zoom is a secure, video-based, user-friendly, online platform that can be accessed through a smartphone, tablet, or computer and allows residents to see and hear others.

Zoom Activity Release Forms

Participants are required to obtain and complete an Activity Release Form from the senior center they regularly attend.
