Somerset County’s Home-Delivered Meals & Transportation Schedule to Be Modified for Holiday

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Somerset County’s Division of Transportation will provide limited services on Good Friday, April 15.  Public transit shuttles including CAT, DASH and SCOOT will not be operating.

Transportation for dialysis will be operating, but all other paratransit services will not be operating.

Home-delivered meals will not be delivered. Clients are encouraged to use the frozen meals previously delivered. If clients do not have frozen meals, they can also use the heater or shelf-stable meals that were previously delivered.

Heater meals are shelf-stable meals packaged in an orange box. Heater meals are not intended for use in the microwave oven. Read the directions on the package for information about how to heat the meals without a power source.
