Volunteers Sought for Somerset County Fall Leaf Clean-Up Program

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Volunteer with the Somerset County Office of Volunteer Services for the annual Fall Leaf Clean-up program to rake leaves for elderly, homebound or disabled county homeowners who need help with their yard work.

“Volunteering is a way to feel connected to the community and make a difference in others’ lives,” said Somerset County Commissioner Paul Drake. “This past year has been challenging for everyone and offering your time and service to help a neighbor can make a positive impact in both your lives.”

Why Volunteer?

Positively impacting others’ lives by contributing to a worthy cause, such as assisting the elderly or persons with disabilities, finding purpose in one’s life through service to others and feeling connected to a community are reasons to volunteer.

For more information and to sign up as a volunteer, call the Office of Volunteer Services at 908-541-5715.
