Webinar Available for Employers to Discuss Free Online Employee Training Program
The Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB) invites employers in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties to attend a free webinar to find out about Metrix Learning®, a free online employee learning-management system. The webinar will occur at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 14. Click here to join the webinar.
Metrix Learning® is a free, valuable online tool that provides employers with more than 6,000 employee-learning courses and allows for individual and group learning. Employers can choose a preset learning path, or they can customize the employee learning system to fit their needs. Metrix Learning® personnel will collaborate with employers to create a program that fits their learning needs.
This easy online learning-management system will also keep track of employees’ course progress, course completion, and hours of training. Metrix Learning® offers the following:
- New Hires – Onboarding standards
- Career Ascendancy – Identify skills for promotion
- Managers/Supervisors – Skill development for new and existing managers
- Technology Training – Ensures staff are familiar with best practices
Metrix Learning® is a SkillUp Greater Raritan program that is free for employers through the GRWDB’s grant programs.

Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB) and SkillUp
The GRWDB oversees federally and state-funded career and employment services for businesses and residents in Hunterdon and Somerset counties.
SkillUp Greater Raritan was introduced by the GRWDB to its menu of services in February 2020. Over the past three years, more than 3,400 job seekers in Hunterdon and Somerset counties have used the platform to develop their workplace, digital and interpersonal skills. Individuals who sign up get a free six-month, 24/7 account to use to reach their career goals. This initiative aims to broaden how SkillUp is used in both counties.
