Workforce Development Board Offers Free Hiring-Strategy Webinar, Targeted Job Fairs and Resources for Employers in Somerset, Hunterdon Counties
A free webinar about branding strategy to help employers in Hunterdon and Somerset counties recruit new hires and the first in a series of in-person, sector-specific recruitment events are among several upcoming programs available to employers looking for new ideas and different ways to hire.
The programs are sponsored by the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB) and its partners, with the goal of connecting talented job seekers to hundreds of Somerset and Hunterdon County employers looking to hire the right people. Many of these weekly-paying positions are available immediately.
“We know that employers in the two counties have hundreds of jobs open,” said GRWDB Board Chair Joanne Hala. “One-time programs like the hiring strategy webinar and this new recruitment series are designed to help support employers and workers find success. These are just a part of a menu of GRWDB services that include paid incumbent workers and on-the-job training opportunities, along with our area’s many virtual and in-person resources.”
